Why do we sell Popcorn?

Posted on Aug 17 2018 - 9:49pm

I've asked myself that question many times in the past. A scout will tell you it's because they want to earn these really cool prizes and go on the pack trip but I've learned that it's really much more than that....

As with everything, there is a cost associated with all of the things that scouting offers. Our Pack needs money to provide program, training, as well as purchase equipment, and advancements. Our council needs money to provide services to units, maintain camp properties and provide large group events and activities.
